Meet the Team


Dr. Ishbel Nieves was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and has resided in Lake County, Fl for the last 5 years. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology with emphasis in the Human Anatomy from the University of Puerto Rico in 2003. In 2007 Dr. Nieves graduated from the University of Puerto Rico: School of Dental Medicine obtaining a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

After her graduate studies, Dr. Nieves moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue a General Practice Residency certificate from the Malcom Randall, VA Medical Center. It was during this program that Dr. Nieves had the opportunity to work with medically compromised dental patients as well as widen her knowledge in several areas of general dentistry and diagnosis and treatment of oral-facial pain.

Dr. Ishbel Nieves lives in Clermont, Fl with her husband Erik, she enjoys kayaking, running and reading. Dr. Nieves believes that the active participation in continuing education courses will allow her to provide the latest in dental treatment to her patients.

Dr. Nieves believes that the patient should be treated with respect and kindness, meanwhile providing quality dental care.


Linda began her dental career in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA as a chairside dental assistant. Ten years later, a move to the Southern New Jersey Shore offered her the opportunity to expand her skills by achieving Expanded Functions and Dental Practice Management certifications.

Several years later, Linda returned to college to complete her degree in Dental Hygiene at Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ. A later move to Florida in 2004 brought Linda to Highland Lakes Dental. "I love that I have a good understanding of all aspects of the Dental Practice. It helps me make each patient experience just a little bit easier".

Active in the American Dental Hygienists' Association since a student, Linda sets a priority on keeping up with new treatments and products that will benefit her patients. She is also actively working toward her personal goal of providing quality oral health care to residents of Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Communities.

Linda lives with her husband, Craig, in Tavares. They like to take road trips to the many State parks and natural areas in Florida, as well as travel throughout the United States when possible. Photography, gardening and cooking top the list of her favorite pastimes.

When asked about her oral health care philosophy, Linda will respond: "Each person has individual needs, expectations and abilities regarding dental care. I strive to get to know each patient so that, together, we can take a few simple steps to build a healthy smile".


Chevis Traylor went to South Florida Community College for her bachelors degree and St. Petersburg College where she received a degree as a registered dental hygienist. Chevis has been in the dental field since 2005, she worked as a Dental Assistant for three years and has been working as Dental Hygienist for the past five years. Chevis is married and is the proud mother of a little boy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and riding her horses.
